I don't usually read fantasy books however I thought I'd give this a try! I was really drawn into the world and the characters following them through everything. It was easy to get invested in! Very enjoyable read!

Great Debut

It's hard to believe this is the author's debut novel. I really enjoyed the story and became highly invested in several of the characters. I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is a very good read.

An excellent story with believable characters. Caught the place perfectly in my minds eye. Visceral in parts with moments of great tenderness which is a tribute to the author. Looking forward to the rest of the trilogy.
